Two types of search are available. The first searches for the proteins most electrostatically similar to the query. One UNIPROT or ENSEMBL code and the number of proteins to be retrieved should be entered in the appropriate boxes. Then click retreive. The second search compares the electrostatic potential of a list of proteins entered in the last (third) query box on the main page. This second search type is currently very slow, so be prepared to wait a couple of minutes for your results. Enter several UNIPROT or ENSEMBL codes separated by spaces and click retreive. An Index lists the models and potentials available for comparison. This search facility currently contains 1649 structures and electrostatic potentials. Ubiquitin related experimental structures from the pdb have been sorted according to type and are available via the ExperimentalStructures link, which can be accessed from the menu bar at the bottom of every page, along with other details |
